MX Composites develops, manufactures and markets high performance components in Metal Matrix Composites (MMC) for dynamic applications such as engines, brakes and suspensions for motorcycles and exclusive vehicles.

The MMC material is superior when it comes to designing lightweight high strength components that gives that extra level of performance. Our MMC connecting rods have for several years been used and proven by the Husaberg Racing team under the severe conditions in the Enduro World Championships. This could well be the most demanding test for an engine component.

Where the needs are extreme is our motto - what are your needs?

MMC connecting rods The MX Composites' con rods weigh normally less than 50% of its fellow steel con rod and runs with an integrated slide bearing directly on the crank reducing the need for roller bearing and bushings. The improved heat transfer means less stresses on the con rod as well as the piston and the piston pin. Compared to Titanium con rods the weight saving is about 25%.
